Affirmations

How do Affirmations help you heal? Affirmations use the power of the mind, the power of words, and the power of intention to change your life. Affirmations are ways to retrain the mind to focus on positive thoughts. Emotions follow thoughts, so affirmations work on both the intellectual and emotional levels to heal us from negative thinking and feelings.
You can use affirmations written by others that speak to your situation, or you can compose your own. Care should be taken to state the perfect condition in the present tense (now). Use positive active words to reinforce your intention to be healed.
Each affirmation should reflect one situation or condition that you want to heal. They can be one sentence or up to three sentences. The mind can only focus on one idea at a time. Stating the affirmation out loud, 2 to 3 times a day for 21 days is a good general guideline for success. Remember to say the words our loud in a positive and assertive manner as if the perfect condition is already here.
Affirmation #1: I love my Inner Child and my Inner Child loves me. Together we can do wonderful things in the world. Blessings on our unity.
Affirmation #2: My heart is important. My love is important. My peace is important. When I bring all of these important things together, I am important. Today I acknowledge my own importance and affirm this Truth. I make a difference in the world.
Affirmation #3: Peace fills every cell of my body. Peace restores and renews me. I am whole, complete and perfect as peace becomes my strength. I am at peace. I am peace.
