How do Affirmations help you heal? Affirmations use the power of the mind, the power of words, and the power of intention to change your life. Affirmations are ways to retrain the mind to focus on positive thoughts. Emotions follow thoughts, so affirmations work on both the intellectual and emotional levels to heal us from negative thinking and feelings.

You can use affirmations written by others that speak to your situation, or you can compose your own. Care should be taken to state the perfect condition in the present tense (now). Use positive active words to reinforce your intention to be healed.

Each affirmation should reflect one situation or condition that you want to heal. They can be one sentence or up to three sentences. The mind can only focus on one idea at a time. Stating the affirmation out loud, 2 to 3 times a day for 21 days is a good general guideline for success. Remember to say the words our loud in a positive and assertive manner as if the perfect condition is already here.

Affirmation #1: I am more than what I do. I am more than what I say. I am more than my thoughts and emotions. I am a Spiritual being having a physical experience. I claim my spiritual heritage now.

Affirmation #2: I am composed of Love atoms. Every cell in my body radiates Love. My eyes see Love everywhere. My ears hear the sounds of Love in all of Creation. My heart receives and gives Love lavishly. My hands are hands of Love and all my actions are Love in motion. I am Love.

Affirmation #3: My Soul waits for me to open my heart and mind to Spirit. I set my intention to open myself to the voice of my Soul. My Soul guides me to higher paths of living. I am grateful to recognize and acknowledge my Soul working through me in this physical world.
