How do Affirmations help you heal? Affirmations use the power of the mind, the power of words, and the power of intention to change your life. Affirmations are ways to retrain the mind to focus on positive thoughts. Emotions follow thoughts, so affirmations work on both the intellectual and emotional levels to heal us from negative thinking and feelings.

You can use affirmations written by others that speak to your situation, or you can compose your own. Care should be taken to state the perfect condition in the present tense (now). Use positive active words to reinforce your intention to be healed.

Each affirmation should reflect one situation or condition that you want to heal. They can be one sentence or up to three sentences. The mind can only focus on one idea at a time. Stating the affirmation out loud, 2 to 3 times a day for 21 days is a good general guideline for success. Remember to say the words our loud in a positive and assertive manner as if the perfect condition is already here.

Affirmation #1: I am free to be me. I am free to be the best me. As I relish my freedom, I also allow others to be free. I am grateful for my freedom to choose the highest good for my life.

Affirmation #2: There is perfect harmony to all of life. I am part of that harmony and I claim harmony and balance for my life. Whenever I feel out of balance I return to my favorite place in nature and breathe in peace and harmony.

Affirmation #3: The Peace of God fills my soul. I am the peace. I believe in peace and I think, speak, and take only actions of peace. My peace is helping the world be at peace. I am the peace.
