Planting Seeds of Peace

Buy some seed of your favorite kind of peas. On a small piece of paper, write down what you would like to see grow into your life this year. Using a small container or paper cup, put a small amount of potting soil in your container, gently insert your written wish for this new year saying a blessing. Add a bit more potting soil and plant 3-4 peas, covering gently with more soil until it reaches the brim of your container. Set in a sunny place (a kitchen window is good) and keep the soil moist by watering it every day. When the peas sprout and grow strong enough, remove the plant and your written wish from the small container/cup and replant into a bigger patio pot or in your garden. Enjoy the peas when they ripen and say a prayer of gratitude for your wishes coming true.
