Creating a Petroglyph Rock for Dad
Instructions
Find a large stone with enough flat surface to draw on. Paint your rock a solid color using whatever paint you have around or with craft paint. Check out pictures of petroglyphs online. Choose a simple one you can draw on your rock. If you are gifting this rock to your Father, Brother, or any other man, choose a symbol that you think best describes the person. Use a permanent black ink marking pen to draw the petroglyph. If the rock will be displayed outside, spray it all over with an acrylic spray to preserve the drawing. This is a fun family project. You can make peace rocks, love rocks, joy rocks, smile rocks, etc.
