Design Harmony Postcards

This project balances out sour and sweet back to harmony. Purchase 8 blank postcards or cut card stock to postcard size (4”x 6”). Buy a small lemon from the market. Cut the lemon in half crosswise so you have a circle. Select three colors of craft paint or watercolors. Dip the lemon half in one of the paints and then press it down on the postcard. You are using the lemon to print circles of color. Print as many circles as you like on the postcards and let them dry. Write your name and the date in one corner. Artists usually sign their works of art.
Let the postcards dry. Write a short sweet happy note to someone you love and address and mail the card. Don’t forget the postage of 53¢ for each postcard. Postcards over 4” x 6” require a 68¢ stamp. (Yes, postage rates have gone up.)
