Make a Christmas Advent Wreath

You will need five candles, tapered ones are best, and five candle holders. You can also use a Styrofoam circle and carefully make a hole for four candles to set them in. Put four candles in a circle and the fifth one in the center of the circle. Decorate your circle wreath with Christmas greens. Beginning November 30, light one candle, the next Sunday light two candles, the next – three, the next – four, and on Christmas Eve light the middle candle and all the other candles. The candles represent Love, Peace, Joy, Hope and the fifth candle is the Christ-Light candle. Say a prayer after you light each candle that the spiritual gift of that Sunday in Advent will come to you and your family.
