Each year, the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on September 21. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire.
Peace Week promotes a peaceful and thriving world. One that is fundamentally free from all forms of oppression and domination. It is a world where humanity lives in right relationship with ourselves, with each other, with other species and with the entire natural world.
Join the growing global movement towards peace, unity, and a thriving world for all of life during World Unity Week.
