Be still and know.
Meditation #1 (June Meditation): Peaceful Warrior Be at peace and calm your breath. Take a few deep, cleansing breaths. With the next breath visualize yourself as a warrior. In one hand you hold the Sword of Truth; in your other hand you hold the Shield of Light. Upon your head rests the Helmet of Clarity.and on your feet are the Sandals of Right Choice. Your armor is the Armor of Faith. Reflect on how these armaments can be used by the Peaceful Warrior that is your true nature.
Meditation #2 (July Meditation): Honoring our Thoughts Find a quiet place away from all distractions. Take a few deep breaths and relax. Clear your mind but keep it open. When a thought enters, take a breath and honor that thought, then let it go. Don’t follow it or try to add to it. Sit quietly and wait for the next thought. Honor the new thought and let it go. Continue to honor your thoughts until you feel this practice is finished for this meditation. Thank that part of you that thinks.
Meditation #3 (August Meditation): Practice Playing For this meditation, you will need five toys: a yo-yo, bubbles to blow, a ball, a magnifying glass, and an ice cream. Each week begin in your Center of Peace, then pick up the toy for the week and began to play with it. Observe the action of the toy, how you feel when you play with it, and how easy it is to play without thinking about any of your cares or worries. Keep your mind and heart focused on playing and remember what was like to be a child again.
